Day wise itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Kaziranga
• Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station.
• Drive to Kaziranga National Park, renowned for the one-horned rhinoceros.
• Enjoy scenic views of Assam’s countryside and tea gardens.
• Check-in at your resort or lodge near the park.
• Optional: Witness a local tribal dance performance .
• Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 2: Kaziranga Safari – Transfer to Shillong
• Early morning jeep safari in Kaziranga’s Central or Western Range.
• Spot rhinos, elephants, wild buffaloes, swamp deer, and exotic birds.
• Return for breakfast and check-out.
• Drive to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya .
• En route, stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake.
• Check-in at your hotel in Shillong.
• Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 3: Shillong Local Sightseeing
• Visit Shillong Peak for panoramic views of the city and hills.
• Explore Elephant Falls and the Don Bosco Museum.
• Enjoy boating or a walk around Ward’s Lake.
• Visit the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians.
• Evening shopping at Police Bazaar.
• Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 4: Shillong – Cherrapunji
• Drive to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth.
• Stop at Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint.
• Visit Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, and Mawsmai Caves.
• Stroll through Eco Park and enjoy the panoramic landscape.
• Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Day 5: Cherrapunji – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Shillong
• Travel to Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village.
• Visit the Living Root Bridge in Riwai.
• Proceed to Dawki near the India-Bangladesh border.
• Enjoy a boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River.
• Return to Shillong by evening.
• Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 6: Shillong – Guwahati
• After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati.
• Optional: Visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple.
• Free time for shopping or walk along the Brahmaputra riverfront.
• Optional: Sunset or dinner cruise on the Brahmaputra .
• Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 7: Guwahati – Bhalukpong (Arunachal Pradesh Entry)
• Begin your journey to Bhalukpong, the gateway to Arunachal Pradesh.
• Complete Inner Line Permit (ILP) formalities at the entry point.
• Visit Tipi Orchid Centre, home to over 500 orchid species.
• Relax by the river and enjoy Himalayan views.
• Overnight stay in Bhalukpong.

Day 8: Bhalukpong – Dirang
• Drive to Dirang, a serene hill town in Arunachal Pradesh.
• Stop at Bomdila Viewpoint for breathtaking mountain views.
• Visit Dirang Valley, apple orchards, and tribal villages.
• Explore the Dirang Monastery and hot water springs.
• Overnight stay in Dirang.

Day 9: Dirang – Tawang
• Scenic drive to Tawang via Sela Pass (13,700 ft).
• Visit Sela Lake (Paradise Lake) and Jaswant Garh War Memorial en route.
• Arrive in Tawang and check-in at your hotel.
• Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 10: Tawang Local Sightseeing
• Visit Tawang Monastery, one of Asia’s largest Buddhist monasteries.
• Explore the Tawang War Memorial dedicated to 1962 Indo-China War heroes.
• Optional (with permit): Visit PTSO Lake or Bum La Pass.
• Evening at leisure to explore local markets.
• Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 11: Tawang – Bomdila
• Return journey to Bomdila.
• Visit Bomdila Monastery and enjoy views of snow-clad peaks.
• Explore local craft centres and markets. 
• Overnight stay in Bomdila.

Day 12: Bomdila – Guwahati – Departure
• After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati.
• Transfer to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for departure.
• Tour concludes with unforgettable memories of Northeast India.
