Day wise itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati – Kamakhya Temple – Shillong
• Upon arrival in Guwahati, you will begin your spiritual journey with a visit to the sacred Maa Kamakhya Temple, a major Shakti Peetha known for its powerful energy and ancient rituals.
• After seeking blessings, drive towards Shillong, the picturesque capital of Meghalaya. En route, enjoy a scenic halt at the serene Umiam Lake, a perfect spot for photography and relaxation.
• On reaching Shillong, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the evening at leisure.
• Overnight in Shillong

Day 2: Shillong Local Sightseeing
• Today is dedicated to exploring the natural and cultural attractions of Shillong. Begin with a panoramic view of the city from Shillong Peak, followed by a visit to the cascading Elephant Falls, a three-tiered waterfall nestled amidst lush greenery.
• Continue to the Don Bosco Museum, showcasing the rich tribal culture of Northeast India. Relax by the tranquil Ward’s Lake, a popular spot for locals and tourists alike.
• Later, admire the architecture of the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians before heading to Police Bazaar, Shillong’s bustling market known for local crafts, food, and souvenirs.

Day 3: Shillong – Cherrapunji
• After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth, renowned for its dramatic landscapes.
• On the way, stop at Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point for breathtaking views of the verdant valley.
• Upon reaching Cherrapunji, visit the stunning Nohkalikai Falls, the tallest plunge waterfall in India, and the panoramic Seven Sisters Falls, named after the seven northeastern states.
• Explore the mysterious Mawsmai Caves, filled with fascinating limestone formations, and conclude the day at the scenic Eco Park, offering views of the Sylhet plains of Bangladesh.
• Overnight in Cherrapunji

Day 4: Cherrapunji – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Shillong
• Start early for a full-day excursion to the cleanest village in Asia, Mawlynnong, known for its tidy lanes, bamboo dustbins, and eco-conscious residents.
• Take a short walk to the beautiful Living Root Bridge in nearby Riwai village. Later, proceed to Dawki, a hidden gem near the Indo-Bangladesh border, famous for the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River.
• Enjoy a peaceful boat ride where the boats appear to float on air due to the river’s clarity. After soaking in the natural beauty, drive back to Shillong for overnight stay.

Day 5: Shillong – Guwahat
• Check out from your hotel and drive back to Guwahati.
• On arrival, you can explore additional spiritual and cultural sites such as the Umananda Temple, located on Peacock Island in the middle of the Brahmaputra River, and the Navagraha Temple, dedicated to the nine celestial bodies.
• If time permits, you can also visit the Assam State Museum or indulge in local shopping for traditional Assamese silk, tea, and handicrafts at markets like Paltan Bazaar.
• Overnight in Guwahati

Day 6: Departure from Guwahati
• After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your return journey.
• Depart with spiritual blessings from Maa Kamakhya and unforgettable memories of Meghalaya’s scenic beauty and vibrant culture.
